There’s this lady who carries around her puppy in her arms at the Dojo. I figured her husband told her if she wanted it, then she has to care for it. I just use to look at the puppy but Saturday afternoon, I smiled and asked if I could hold her puppy. She let me. I petted the puppy and he took a liking to me too, it licked my face, it’s a small pupply like a hand size, not big at all. I have no idea what breed it is.
My husband starts telling her about our Akitas, and our rhodesian ridgeback crossbred.. We, in our dumb mode, we looked through our iPhones for pictures. I forgot how for one thing, needless to say the lady started to take care of the orders she received for her son and moved on. In a minute or so I found Buddy’s picture. I started to show her, but she was too involved with the other lady. I tried a few times, it got to be utterly ridiculous and hubs elbowed me to stop. I looked at him, and started to laugh.
Hubby and I goofed around about me needing more social skills. I was laughing and mocking the scenerio, by then the lady had gone to the office and doing whatever it is she’s doing. I saw her coming back our way, and I said to Hubs “Okay, let me see your SOCIAL SKILLS”.. he watched her as she was walking by, and I started to giggle to myself. I saw his hand flinch, and the only word that came out of his mouth was “Woof” I look at him, and snort. I start to laugh. With tears in my eyes I said “woof? You call that Social Skills? Woof?” I doubled over laughing so hard I was wheezing trying to keep myself from laughing out loud. He sat straight up, with good posture and tried to act like nothing happened. I poked him and said “I know deep inside you’re laughing your behind off.” He started to laugh, there went our afternoon. Woofing each other. We are a good team of Major Morons. Woof.
This BIG Teddy Bear "Lucy" is a special Teddy Bear to me. She has been with me for 20 years. My husband gave her to me, with Diamond Ring, Roses, a ride in the Limo, a dinner and a sweet Welcome Home... That's how Lucy came into our home.
